Kunming
- Journey to the West Begins
|
|
|
Kunming
is the capital of the southwestern province of Yunnan. It offered
a stark contrast to what we had seen in Beijing, namely clear
blue skies, rugged mountains and little air pollution. Kunming
was a starting point of sorts, with us a spending a night on
before and after our jaunts to Dali and Lijiang. |
