At the beach in San Chih, northwestern Taiwan
Actually, San Chih is about as far north as you can go on the island and comes after Tamsui on the northwest side of Taiwan. It is the home of former Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui, and here there are several nice coffee shops where you can drink coffee, eat and watch the Taiwan Strait as it flows into the East China Sea.
